Materials Research Laboratory Bldg. 615 - Interruption of Ventilation, Heating, Cooling and Exhaust
Date: September 15 to September 21, 2026 Time: 5am to 2pm intermittently
Facilities Management Preventative Maintenance staff will be performing scheduled maintenance work on the building’s heating, ventilating and air conditioning (HVAC) systems. This work will include inspection and replacement of air filtration media and fan motor belts, lubrication of motors, and inspection/repair of associated ventilation and heating and cooling systems. Please note the following schedule. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Tuesday September 15, 2026 HVAC Supply Fan S-1 will be off before normally scheduled hours (This fan supplies air for all labs.)
Fume hood exhaust fans FE-1, FE-2, FE-3, and FE-4 will be off from 8AM to 12 noon. (These fans provide fume hood and general exhaust in all labs.)

Emergency Generator will be tested, 7:30am to 8:30am (Only Emergency Circuits will be affected by transfer of power)

Building Heating system will be off from 8AM to 4PM.

Building cooling system will be off from 8AM to 2PM. Compressed Air may be disrupted from 8AM to 9am ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Monday September 21, 2026
Lab equipment cooling water will be off from 8AM to 2PM. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
