Noble Hall Bldg. 544 - Interruption of Ventilation, Heating, Cooling and Exhaust
Date: October 5 to October 7, 2026 Time: 5am to 2pm intermittently
FM Preventative Maintenance staff will be performing scheduled maintenance work on the building’s heating, ventilating and air conditioning (HVAC) systems. This work includes inspection and replacement of air filtration media and fan motor belts, lubrication of motors, and inspection/repair of associated ventilation and hydronic heating and cooling systems. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- PLEASE MAKE SURE ALL OCCUPANTS ARE NOTIFIED NOT TO USE FUME HOODS AND GAS CABINETS DURING OUTAGES AFFECTING THEIR AREAS. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Monday, October 5, 2026
Supply fan AH-1 will be off. Serves the first floor of the lab wing. Exhaust fans EF-1 and EF-2 will be off from 8AM to 12 noon. These fans provide general exhaust and fume hood exhaust to the south side of the lab wing, first and second floors. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Tuesday October 6, 2026
Supply fan AH-2 will be off. Serves the second floor of the lab wing. Exhaust fan FE-16 will be off from 8AM to 12 noon. This fan provides fume hood exhaust in room 1013. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Wednesday October 7, 2026 Emergency Generator Test 7:30am to 8:30am
Exhaust fans EF-4 and EF-5 will be off from 9AM to 12PM.
