FM Preventative Maintenance staff will be performing scheduled preventative maintenance work on the building’s heating, ventilating and air conditioning (HVAC) systems. This work includes inspection and replacement of air filtration media and fan motor belts, lubrication of motors, and inspection/repair of associated ventilation and hydronic heating and cooling systems.
Monday August 24, 2026 Supply Fan AH-1 will be off, before normally scheduled hours Supply Fan AH-2 will be off, before normally scheduled hours Exhaust Fans EF-1 & EF-4 will be off from 8 am to 12 noon (These fans supply air, general exhaust, and fume hood exhaust for the first and second floors of the lab section (south wing of building), and perimeter areas of the third floor of the lab section.) _____________________________________________________________________________________ Tuesday August 25, 2026 Supply Fan AH-3 will be off, before normally scheduled hours (This fan serves levels 1,2,3 of the north east section of the building: Rooms 2001, 2003, 2005, 2024, 2601, 2603, 2611, 2615, 2619, 2621, 2809, 2810, 3001, 3005, multipurpose rooms 1601, 1605, and the sphere room.) _____________________________________________________________________________________ Wednesday August 26, 2026 Clean Room Air Handler Units – PAH, CAH-1 & CAH-2 will be off from 7:00AM to 3:00PM
Exhaust Fans EF-2; EF-3 will be off from 7:00AM to 3:00PM
(These fans provide supply air, general exhaust, and fume hood exhaust for CLEAN ROOM, other labs on the third floor and lab maintenance rooms.)
Emergency Generator will be tested from 7:30am to 8:30am
(Generator tests will affect emergency circuits, throughout Elings Hall, parking structure, and Courtyard Café. Emergency circuits will lose power briefly during the test - less one minute while switching to the generator.) _____________________________________________________________________________________ Thursday August 27, 2026 Exhaust Fan EF-5 will be off, 7:00 am to 9:00 am and restored by manual operation.
